On Saturday, June 12, North will officially be opening in Hillsboro, MO! We’re planning to celebrate with a grand opening event, just like we did in Pevely back in May.

“We’re thrilled to be opening our doors in Hillsboro just two weeks after hosting our first grand opening in Pevely,” said Zach Mangelsdorf, president of North. “North has been working hard and waiting patiently for this day. All of our efforts are finally paying off in making this dream become a reality.”

Here’s what to expect:

Grand Opening Festivities

North’s grand opening festivities will take place at 929 Peachtree Plaza Dr. in Hillsboro, starting at 10 a.m. If you’ve always wanted to attend an official ribbon cutting ceremony, then you don’t want to miss out! Our president, Zach Mangelsdorf, will be joining the North executive leadership team to cut the ribbon in front of our second location. We’re also going to be raffling off promotional giveaways throughout the day and are staying open until 9 p.m.

Meet the Experts

Since there’s a chance that you’re unfamiliar with purchasing medical cannabis, the expert team members of Midwest GreenCert will be at the event to answer any questions you may have. Don’t yet have a Missouri medical cannabis card? They can walk you through the entire application process in person.

Available Strains of Medical Cannabis

In Hillsboro and Pevely, North will be offering premium THC and CBD products. Our medical cannabis will be available in two strains – indica and sativa. Need help sleeping or relaxing your entire body? Ask one of our team members about the indica strain. Want to improve your focus and become more stimulated? The sativa strain may be right for you.

Methods of Consumption

Still need to familiarize yourself with medical cannabis? You’ll also want to do some homework regarding the different methods of consumption before joining us at the grand opening. These include smoking, vaping, and eating. For instantaneous relief, consider smoking by burning and inhaling cannabis. Vaping is another way to experience your prescription right away. All you need is a vape pen from North, which you will use to inhale the product. Last but not least, edibles come in many forms like cookies and brownies that you can eat. These need to be digested and take a little longer to kick in.

The wait for North is finally coming to an end! On Saturday, May 29, we will be opening our doors for an official grand opening event in Pevely, MO! You heard us right, we’re no longer “coming soon” as we have set a date for our long-time supporters and future customers.

“All signs are pointing North for our grand opening in Pevely,” said Zachery Mangelsdorf, president of North. “We’re incredibly proud and excited to start our medical cannabis journey, and can’t wait to work with patients throughout the state of Missouri.”

Grand Opening Festivities

North’s grand opening festivities will take place at 1709 Highway Z in Pevely, starting at 10 a.m. President Zach Mangelsdorf and the North executive leadership team will host a brief ceremony and cut the ribbon in front of our first location. Following this, North will be handing out a limited number of promotional giveaways. North will then remain open until 9 p.m. that night!

Meet the Doctors

Joining the North crew for the day will be Dr. John Judd, M.D. of Midwest GreenCert and our chief medical officer, Dr. Gordon Johnson. Before you are able to legally purchase medical cannabis, you must have your Missouri medical cannabis card. If you don’t already have one, we recommend that you speak with Dr. Judd at the grand opening to learn more about the application process. Dr. Johnson will also be able to provide you with relevant educational resources in case you have any questions or concerns regarding medical cannabis.

North’s wide selection will include premium THC and CBD products in-store. While we’re still working on our drive-thru and delivery services for Missouri patients, we can guarantee that our delivery services will be offered across all of Jefferson County. This includes our in-person and drive-thru/delivery services, online ordering process, and a few photos as well.  

What to Expect While Inside North

When arriving at North in the near future, the very first thing you can expect is to be greeted with a friendly smile. The first official step will be to sign in with your Missouri medical marijuana card and government issued ID. This is a highly important part of our dispensary as we will only be able to assist people who have qualifying medical conditions and their card. If you don’t have your own yet, check out our previous post – How To Apply for a Missouri Medical Marijuana Card.

After your card has been verified, we will gladly let you venture out onto the floor. Once there, you will be able to peruse the products in our display cases, browse product details on our user-friendly tablets, and receive assistance as needed from our knowledgeable patient consultants.

Drive-Thru and Delivery Services

If this past year has taught businesses anything, it’s the value of offering drive-thru and delivery services. That’s why we will work diligently with patients who suffer from chronic conditions, mobility issues, or even those looking for a quick and convenient option through both once we open.

From the Car

As of 2020, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Section for Medical Marijuana has shown support for drive-thru services as an “option for better patient access,” according to an article in Greenway. The piece goes on to explain that people with chronic conditions rank second in reasons as to why Missourians become medical marijuana patients in the first place. When a dispensary offers drive-thru services, the patient never has to leave their vehicle. Think of it like a drive-thru pharmacy of sorts.

To Your Door

We want patients to be as comfortable as possible when working with North. That’s why we’re also going to be offering delivery services for patients. Your medical marijuana products can be preordered and paid for online and sent straight to the address you provide. If you are concerned about medical marijuana being shipped to your home, please find relief in the fact that North is a 100% licensed and verified Missouri medical marijuana dispensary. When our delivery driver arrives, you will simply need to show your Missouri medical marijuana card and government issued ID and sign that it has been delivered.
